The Bee’s Knees is a simple three-ingredient stunner of a cocktail that couldn’t be easier to make. In just two minutes or under, simply combine, shake, and strain and you’ll be on your way to the party. You’ll need honey syrup, lemon juice, and gin – That’s all there is to it.

Stir the ingredients with ice, shake to combine, and strain your cocktail into a coupe, then pull out the fancy glasses and ENJOY.

Ingredients

1/4 (2 oz.) gin

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

It’s Simple to Make

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into a coupe glass.

How To Grow Your Own Herb Garden
Any chef worth his salt will tell you that the best flavours are born from fresh produce and the best flavours can be had from none other than your garden. Your herb garden, to be exact.

Here, a step by step guide to get your started on a sustainable herb garden in your very own kitchen.

Pick a Location
The best place for an herb garden is a spot in the kitchen that catches at least six hours of sun a day. A kitchen windowsill is just perfect for plotting herbs in small containers.

Prep for Planting
Start by loosening the soil then add compost, peat moss or coarse sand to the soil to improve drainage. Plant early in the morning or late in the afternoon to prevent the transplants from wilting in the midday sun.

Dig Planting Holes
Create large plant holes for bedding plants. Each hole should be about twice the width of the root ball of the new plant.

Add Plants to Soil
Space the bedding plants at least 18 inches apart to afford them room to spread out and grow. Place taller herbs, such as sage, rosemary and marjoram, toward the back of the garden, and place shorter herbs parsley and cilantro in the front.

Label The Herbs
Label each herb for easy identification.

Surround With Flowering Plants
Pretty up your herb garden with flowering plants like zinnias and salvia.

Water Regularly
Water the new transplants regularly plenty. Make sure the herbs get an inch of water each week.

Harvest Mature Herbs
Feel free to harvest herbs as soon as they are mature, taking only what you need. Refrain from over-harvesting (i.e. taking more than a third of the plant) Fresh herbs taste best when harvested in the morning and herbs are most flavourful if harvested before they bloom.

Hospitals or wherever your birth may take place may be a bit chilly and your body temperature could swing from hot to cold.

2.)​ ​Maternity bras & underwear
You are not going to want to be wearing a tight thong or your favorite lace underwear- trust me. Be prepared for spotting, urinating when sneezing, and sore breasts. Comfort is key.

3.)​ ​Chapstick
The feeling of dry lips is irritating. Bring chapstick just in case to keep those lips moist.

4.)​ ​Phone charger
Pack an extra phone charger because everyone will be blowing up your phone wanting news, pictures, and making sure you are okay.

5.)​ ​Comfy clothes
Comfort, comfort, comfort. After pushing a baby out of your hoo-ha, you are going to need every bit of help feel comfortable. Loose and soft clothing will be your best friend.

6.)​ ​Magazines/books
Labor can take several hours and even days on bed rest. You will need some sort of entertainment and what better then Ladies Magazine?

7.)​ ​Pajamas
Cambodia loves pajamas because of the easy wear and cute patterns. Pack your favorite PJ’s to wear.

8.)​ ​Blanket
An extra blanket is always good to rest your head on, curl up in when cold, or wrap your newborn in.

9.)​ ​Camera/camera charger
This is a moment you will want to cherish forever.

10.)​ ​The essentials (hairbrush, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, face wash, makeup if desired, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, contact lens case and solution)
The things you can’t go without.

11.)​ ​Favorite music
Giving birth can be a stressful and painful process; bring your favorite music to calm your nerves and put you in a good mood.

12.)​ ​Socks
Keep those toes warm.

13.)​ ​Snacks
Have some munchies to nibble on to quench any hunger (dried mango, peanuts, etc.).

14.)​ ​Spare change just in case
In case you need to get a taxi or tuk tuk home or have someone run to the store for something last minute, it is good to have some small change on hand.

15.)​ ​The baby’s first outfit
They arrived!! Have a cute little outfit ready for the pictures!

INGREDIENTS
•​ ​1 ounce Boulard VSOP Calvados
•​ ​1/2 ounce Absolut Raspberri Vodka
•​ ​1 ounce White Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
•​ ​1/2 ounce simple syrup
•​ ​1/4 ounce pomegranate juice
•​ ​Organic vanilla sugar for rim
Fresh raspberries for garnish

PREPARATION
Rim a cocktail glass with vanilla sugar.
•​ ​Pour the calvados, vodka, chocolate liqueur, and syrup into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
•​ ​Shake well
•​ ​Strain into the prepared glass.
•​ ​Top with pomegranate juice.
•​ ​Garnish with fresh raspberries on a stick.
