Well, it seems like everyone has finally moved on from navy blue and the whole marine look and settled for purple in all its glorious range of hues. While it is wonderful that the fashion industry provides us with different options for us to wear, purple is not necessarily an easy color to pull off.
If it is not particularly of your liking or you find a purple top too much, then start by picking up a scarf that has a hint of this trendy color in it or consider trying out some purple pumps that will add a fun element to your wardrobe.
When at the shop, pull the item of clothing towards your face so you can see how it will look against your skin in different kinds of lightings (natural daylight is extremely different from office lighting) and make sure that it is a good hue for your skin tone.
Purple can be worn easily with white, creamy colors, denim and black; so unless you are going for an 80s night, avoid pairing it with another bright color because they will clash and make your outfit more of an eyesore than a fashion statement.
