Burberry hit all the trends during its energetic show this past fall, which included a live acoustic performance just to make sure everyone was having a good time.
They featured youthful denim, trendy trainers, and even hints of the color of the year, Marsala. The line played with feminine touches like tulle and feathers, but paired them with structured jackets and casual footwear.
This integration of sporty and girly created a look that was easily dressed up or down. Keeping the lengths longer—below the knee—designer Christopher Bailey was able to tastefully push the boundaries with sheer dresses accented by tulle.
The soft pastels and warm reds kept the more revealing designs somewhat romantic, while the addition of sportswear pieces served as a reminder that femininity is not solely reserved for dresses.
