Beauty products always seem to spread out and take over valuable space on bathroom counters and vanities. A cupcake stand is a simple and adorable solution that will help organize the chaos and add some flair and fun to your decor! As it turns out, they are also super simple to make, so you can have your own—and a tidy bathroom counter—in just a few easy steps.
What you need
- Three plates of different sizes. The plates can match, but they can also have different patterns or shapes if you want to go with a
more eclectic look.
- Two small glasses—any fun shaped cocktail or shot glasses.
- One hot glue gun, or super glue and some glue sticks.
Tip: Antique shops and markets are great places to find cheap and unique cocktail glasses and plates
Step 1: Line the top rim of your glass in hot glue or super glue, and then, flipping the glass upside down, place the glue lined rim in the center of the larger plate and press down lightly. Make sure the rim is centered or your stand will look off balance.
Step 2: Line the bottom of the glass, which should now be facing up, in hot glue. Carefully set your smaller plate on top, making sure that the glass rim is centered on the bottom of the plate. Press down.
Step 3: Once the first plates have dried, carefully repeat the steps again with the smaller plate to finish your project.
Wait a few minutes and voila! You have a cupcake stand, and a stylish way to keep your counters clutter free.
