Effective July 1, 2025, the General Department of Immigration (GDI), under the Ministry of Interior, has launched a trial of the new Cambodia v-Pass (Visitor Pass) system, replacing traditional immigration stamps and QR codes for foreign travellers. This initiative supports the implementation of the Cambodia Digital Economy and Society Policy and the Pentagonal Strategy – Phase 1 of the Royal Government of Cambodia, aiming to modernise and streamline immigration procedures.
Foreign travellers can access and download their Cambodia v-Pass information through the following channels:
- Official Cambodia e-Arrival website: https://arrival.gov.kh
- Cambodia e-Arrival mobile application

How to Use Your v-Pass
Entering the Country
- Present your passport at immigration
- The immigration officer will process your entry
- Instead of receiving a physical stamp, you will receive an v-Pass via email
- Keep this v-Pass accessible during your stay
During Your Stay
- You may be asked to show your v-Pass for verification purposes
- You can display it on your mobile device or print it out
- Always respect the duration of stay indicated on your v-Pass
Departing the Country
- Present your passport at departure immigration
- Your departure will be recorded in the system
- No physical exit stamp is needed
