Spring-Summer
Acne Studios merged the intensity of masculinity with the exotic feminine in this collection, shown throughout with plunging necklines paired with flawlessly tailored suits. Even the button-down, business-style shirts have a looser, more modern woman feel. Flared pants and asymmetrical dresses mixed with classic knee-length skirts and trenches, creating an updated approach to femininity.
In addition to the silhouettes, there was an undeniable influence of the 70s trend—seen all over the runway this season—with color choices, fabric, and patterns. Camel, green, and yellow could have easily brought us back to days of polyester leisure suits, but thankfully Acne went with leathers, silks, and satins to keep this fashion trend in this century.
