Following her recent wins at the Golden Globe and Emmy awards, Anna Sawai is joining Dior as its newest brand ambassador. Recognized for her role as Toda Mariko in Shōgun (2024), Sawai’s influence in both film and fashion makes her an ideal match for this collaboration.
It all started when she donned an all-white outfit designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri at the 2025 Golden Globes. Her fashion philosophy, which highlights storytelling through style, aligns perfectly with Dior’s focus on narrative-driven design.

Sawai joins a remarkable group of Dior ambassadors, including BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, singer Rosalía, Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton, and actresses Jenna Ortega, Sonam Kapoor, Elisabeth Debicki, and Rosamund Pike, among others.
“Becoming a Dior ambassador is a dream come true. Dior represents timeless elegance, strength and individuality — qualities I’ve always admired and aspired to embody. I’m so honored to join this iconic house and to celebrate its artistry and vision,” Sawai said.
