The “-ber” month are here and that means it’s the cold season. Although Cambodia doesn’t really have a fall or winter season, temperatures can become quite chilly at times what with rain and strong wind throughout the country. Berry shades like plum, deep red, purple or maroon are the trending colors for fall and winter, inspired by the changing autumn leaves. Although the leaves in The Kingdom don’t change during these months, we should still stock up on these colors and not let the trend pass. Follow this step by step tutorial to recreate a sultry winter look.
1-MAKEUP BASE
On a well cleansed and moisturised face, dot your foundation on your forehead, cheeks and chin, then blend, blend, blend till you get a smooth and even look.
2-CONCEALER
With a concealer brush, apply concealer that’s 1-2 shades lighter than your skin-tone under the eyes, nose bride and chin, and again, remember to blend. Then set everything with powder.
3-EYEBROWS
Apply brow wax on the brows. The wax will help tame the follicles and keep them in place, it will also serve as a sticky base for the brow shadow. Then shade it with an eyebrow powder that’s the same color as your hair.
4-EYE SHADOW
- Apply an eye shadow primer on the lids. A primer serves as a base for the eye shadow that will be applied later on. It helps the shadows stay on longer and become more vivid and intense.
- Take a rusty reddish bronze shade as the first layer of colors and apply all over the lids and stop on the crease area. Blend the edges.
- With a smaller brush, take a deeper plum or purple shadow and just apply it on the outer corners of the lid. As always, blend well for a smoother finish.
- To intensify the look, take a small amount of dark brown or black eye shadow and apply it over the deep plum, but do not cover the entire plum shade. Then blend again.
- Apply the same rusty bronze shadow on the outer ¾ of the lower lid if you have smaller eyes. Leaving the inner empty creates the illusion of bigger eyes. If you have big round eyes, your
