Color Coordinated : Effortlessly chic monochrome

Nothing says luxury like the all-black ensemble from Saint Laurent. Or is it the striking cream from BCBG Max Azria? We could go back and forth all day; there were just too many effortlessly chic monochromatic pieces to choose from. We noticed that it wasn’t all neutrals, either. Though there were the all white wears of Dior and Prabal Gurung, Lanvin showed us how to play with color by layering shades of blue and keeping jewelry and makeup to a minimum.

Taking cues from the sultry, head-to-toe black look, add bold pieces of gold or embroidered silver with a dark lipstick to up the odds of getting envious double-takes. Don’t be afraid to try using color with this trend, but remember to keep it simple with lighter shades and neutral jewelry.
