Dolce & Gabbana presents the prettiest fantasy collection fit for princesses.

Dolce & Gabbana hasn’t been playing to the rules for a while now and this fall is no exception. “We know how the world is today. Fashion makes people dream—this is the service fashion gives,” says Stefano Gabbana. Instead of habitually looking towards their Sicilian heritage, the designers looked a little further this time.

“Today, every girl wants to be a princess.” And now real and reel princesses needn’t look very far for inspiration. Looking to dress Cindrella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and their other Disney compatriots, Dolce & Gabbana had a whole load of fun putting together puffed tinsel dresses, appliqued wind-up nutcrackers and carousel sweaters together.

Despite all the pomp and pageantry fit for Disney princesses, the designers didn’t forget about the evil stepmother, as well as the formal menswear fit for a prince. Now all that’s missing is a real life prince for that all-important happily ever after.
