The South African singer-songwriter and Grammy-winning artist, Tyla, has been named Pandora’s newest ambassador, and she’s glowing brightly in her first campaign for the global jewelry brand. Furthermore, the “Push 2 Start” singer handpicked her charms that reflect her own journey, career, and inspirations.
For instance, she chose the Cherry Blossom Charm to represent her hit song, “Water,” and the Mini Shark Tooth Charm to symbolize her South African heritage and music. Each piece is worn on necklaces, bracelets, and even hoop earrings. She also chose to spell out her fanbase’s name, “Tyger,” in sparkly letter charms.

“Partnering with Pandora is such an exciting thing to do,” Tyla said in a statement. “I’ve always found their jewelry so fun to style because you can create your own unique pieces of jewelry. It reminds me so much of home because my Mom always made jewelry, and the birthstone charms remind me of the beads I used to have laying around in my house growing up. Whenever our mother wanted us not to bother her, she’d give us a big container of beads and my sisters and I would make friendship bracelets all day. Now my Tygers can have matching friendship bracelets with me.”
