Versace has revealed that Dario Vitale will take on the role of Chief Creative Officer starting April 1, 2025.
Vitale comes from Miu Miu, where he was the Design and Image Director, playing a key role in shaping the brand’s unique style and enhancing its global presence in recent years. His appointment signifies an important new direction for the Italian luxury brand as it embarks on a fresh creative journey after nearly three decades.
Vitale’s appointment heralds a new era for Versace as the brand looks to harmonize its rich heritage with a modern vision. His experience at Miu Miu, a prominent player in the luxury market, positions him effectively to steer Versace forward. He is expected to present his first collection for the brand during Milan Fashion Week in September 2025.

‘I am truly honored to join Versace as the Chief Creative Officer and to be a part of this special and powerful fashion luxury House created by Gianni and Donatella. The House of Versace has a unique heritage that has spanned decades and has shaped the history of fashion. I want to express my sincere thank you to Donatella for her trust in me, and for hertireless dedication to the extraordinary brand that Versace is today. It is a privilege to contribute to the future growth of Versace and its global impact through my vision, expertise and dedication.’ said Vitale.
With Vitale leading the creative direction and Donatella remaining the brand’s face and essence, Versace is poised to embark on a new era of creativity and expand its global influence.
